Vancouver is a tourist destination during the summer months. Good hotels that are low to mid ranged in price book-up fast. We recommend that you book your accommodations as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
The main conference venue and hotel is the Renaissance Harbourside Hotel. DIS attendees can get a special rate with them. $225 per room per night (single or double occupancy). Limited quantity! You can book those rooms here: https://resweb.passkey.com/go/DIS2014
Conference, Workshop and Banquet Venues
The conference, workshops and banquet are held in three different locations. The main conference venue is the Renaissance Harbourside Hotel. The banquet venue is at Science World. The Workshop venue is the Morris J Wosk Centre for Dialogue
We created a DIS Map to locate conference venues as well as, restaurants, DIY Hotspots, Galleries, and activities close or related to the conference. Map icons denote the type of activity some selected venues have offered discounts to DIS attendees with coupon.
The Vancouver Tourism Map is available as a downloadable app and online. This information provides access to the local transit systems, accommodations, restaurants and outdoor activities. This is a extensive list of Vancouver centric opportunities for you to explore in the city.
